Tammy Darmel Moore, Founder; and President of Footprints in Africa, offers a rich history of over twenty years in Corporate America and is credited with helping enterprises flourish exponentially through her acute business acumen and strategy. Following her retirement from the corporate sector, Tammy wanted to do more to give back, and after a life-changing trip to Ethiopia, Footprints in Africa was born.

 

Driven by her vision and compassion for humanity and fueled by her love for the African continent, Tammy decided to dedicate a large majority of her time and energy to nurturing and building the Footprints in Africa brand. With over two decades worth of community service experience, Tammy is no stranger to the different layers that come with creating, developing, and facilitating business needs, although; building a non-profit organization from the ground up is a new adventure. 

 

In addition to her work as a non-profit leader, Tammy is Principal Business Consultant under her consultancy firm Moore and Associates and is also the CEO and President of Chayil Enterprises LLC, a highly diversified company with entities in real estate and consumer goods and services. Chayil Enterprises LLC. is the parent company of Therapeutic Touch, Southern Sass, Moore & Associates, and Footprints in Africa.

 

Tammy earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Business Administration, with extensive accounting studies, from Furman University. After graduation, she completed a rigorous Project Management Professional (PMP) program at the University of South Carolina. Additionally, Tammy also has two executive business certifications in Innovative Finance and Social Innovation from the University of Cape Town, a research university in South Africa, thus earning honors recognition in both programs. She also holds several executive certifications in Intellectual Property Law from Pennsylvania University, also known as Penn Law. And an elite business certification in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell.

 

Tammy is a proven leader and team-player that can motivate a group to achieve personal and combined goals. Her influence in the business arena, and community alike, is evident with awards and recognitions like 2018 National Women History Month Spotlight, Ava Smith & Associates: 2018 Black History Month Spotlight, TALK Greenville Magazine: 2017 TALK Greenville 25 Most Beautiful Women in the Upstate, TBC Women Fellowship Ministry: 2017 National Women History Month Spotlight, and 2014, 2013 & 2012 Elite of Lexus-Best in Class Employee Award & Recognition.

 

Also, she's naturally creative. She enjoys every facet of the ARTs (theatre, film, photography, fashion, creative writing, etc.); and has a deep appreciation for a diverse range of music and international travel. 

 

Tammy is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, where she currently resides.
